On behalf of the Organizing Committee we have immense pleasure to invite you to attend the International Conference on Hydrogen and Hydrogen Storage – Methods and Materials which will be held in Bangalore, India from January 3rd to 6th, 2009.

The conference will be organized under the aegis of the Division of Chemical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore in commemoration of the Centenary of the Indian Institute of Science. This conference will serve as a professional forum to disseminate scientific knowledge on areas related to the chemistry of hydrogen. The major topics to be addressed are chemistry of metal hydrides and dihydrogen complexes, hydrogenation catalysis, and hydrogen storage and generation.

The Indian Institute of Science is one of the premier institutes in the country and has been a home to many outstanding scientists of India. It is located in Bangalore which is a delightful place to stay during the months of January. We are not far from some excellent tourist spots if you wish to have a short vacation before or after the conference.
