Visit to famous places of interest of
Bangalore city which include :
Vidhana Soudha
(The political Epicenter of Karnataka
Government), Attara Kacheri (built in 1857 and currently
housing State High Court), Cubbon Park, Lal bagh (covering
250 acres of Botanical gardens with a glass house), Tippu’s
Palace (built in 1791) Bangalore Palace (built by Wodeyar
dynasty of Karnataka), a mammoth Shiva’s Statue depicting
Lord Shiva seated in Lotus position. ISKCON (Hare Rama Hare
Krishna Complex), Kaveri Emporium which is a Super market for
Karnataka’s traditional Handicrafts covering silks, Sandal Wood,
Brass and other curios. Return to

TOUR B : One Day tour of Bangalore –
Ranganathittu – Srirangapatna – Mysore
Type :

Program: After departure
from Bangalore, arrive at Ranganathittu Bird sanctuary and proceed
to Srirangapatna Fort, located on the Banks of the Kaveri river, the
former Capital of Rulers of Mysore State. Continuing the tour, visit
Mysore, the capital of Wodeyar dynasty, famous for Palaces that
include Mysore Palace, the former residence of Wodeyars, now a State
monument rebuilt in 1912; Jaga Mohan Palace – an art gallery housing
rare paintings, Chamundi Hiils – abode of Deity of Wodeyar Rulers;
Zoological gardens and Brindavan Gardens located downstream of
Krishnaraj Sagar dam viewed after sunset. Return to Bangalore after
the visits by 10 PM.

TOUR C : One day tour of Bangalore, Belur,
Halebid, Sravanabelagola
Type:
Coach Tour with guide. Meeting point 9AM – Hotel Ashok (Conference
venue).
Program:
Arrive at Sravanabelagola, to visit the 18 meter high monolithic
statue of Lord Gomateshwara, a Jain saint and an object of worship
for centuries, standing atop one of the hills (Indragiri) and built
around 983 AD. Proceed to Belur housing the famous temples of
Hoysala Dynasty built by its King Vishnuvardhana in 1117 AD,
depicting outstanding carvings in stone spread over the whole temple
complex. Continue the tour to visit Halebid Temple situated 8 Km
away from Belur to see intrinsic temple pillars carved in black
stone complementing the temple architecture of Belur. Return to
Bangalore by 10 PM.

Srirangapatna Fort, located on the banks of the Kaveri river, the
once capital of Rulers of Mysore State. Continuing the tour, visit
Mysore, the capital of Wodeyar Dynasty famous for Palaces that
include the Mysore Palace, once the residence of the Wodeyars, now a
state monument rebuilt in 1912. Jaga Mohan Palace, now an art
gallery housing rare paintings. Proceed and reach Bandipur by 7PM
and halt for night at Tusker Trail Lodge. One day two, after
breakfast enjoy the life time experience of elephant ride across
Bandipur forest to see the flora and fauna and the wild life. Leave
for Bangalore after lunch at Bandipur. Reach Bangalore by 10PM.
