The 9th Discussion Meeting on Spectroscopy and Dynamics of Molecules and Clusters is being organized in Bengaluru at the Eagleton Golf Resorts (http://www.eagletonindia.com/). This will be the 9th meeting in this series. As the name implies, the main purpose of this series of meetings is to enable discussions between experimental and theoretical groups working on spectroscopy and dynamics from India and abroad and foster collaboration.
SDMC meetings have traditionally not taken funds from any funding agencies or institutions and all expenses are covered by a nominal and uniform registration fees for all participants. For participants from India, the registration fee is Rs. 5000 and for participants from abroad, the registration fee is US $ 150. All participants, including students, postdocs and faculty members, stay in the same venue in similar accommodation. This provides for enough time during and after the meeting for more interactions and extensive discussions. The registration fee covers accommodation (double occupancy) and food during the meeting. The registration fees should be paid by January 15, 2012 and detailed information will be sent in due course. A one-page abstract should be sent by this date as well by email to sdmc9@ipc.iisc.ernet.in. In case, you prefer to stay in a single-occupancy room, the additional charges need to be paid by you to Eagleton. Eagleton has promised to keep a few more rooms for us.
